What to get teachers that wrote recs?

<p>I gave both my teacher and counselor shopping gift cards for somewhere around $20 or $25 (I think it was $20). I also wrote them each a card of appreciation. The other ideas mentioned here are good, but don’t go overboard. One of my friends gave $50 gift cards to each of his two teachers writing recs AND his counselor. Still don’t understand why…</p>
