tell me what you are majoring in and what why you choose those majors

tell me what you suggest that i major in

(don't tell me, major in w/e i am interested in cause that defeats the purpose of me asking you guys)

i am going to nyu so i am definitely major in finance but since i have AP credits, alot of elective space, and lax major requirements(4 courses= a co or additional business major) , i have room for a double or even tripple major

i want to work on wall street (don't know what yet, but in a investment bank, not necessarily investment banking)

you can only apply AP creds to the science requirement, some of the stats requirement (if you pass the placement test), and to advance to a higher math. everything else goes into electives, and you really shouldn't waste possible electives by bringing in AP credits. you can bring in a max of 32 AP credits. remember, only 18 credits of your electives can be taken in stern. stern highly recommends that you use your electives outside of stern. since it takes only 4 classes in order to get a major, stern emphasizes that it provides a business education rather than, for example, a finance education. it argues that taking 4 finance courses is not going to do much overall and you should strive to be diffrent!

major in what you love, because you'll excel in what you love.

lots of people do make use of the 18 credits in stern. lots of people are also taking classes doing stuff in the other colleges in areas such as compsci, philosophy, math, politics .etc
