what to phase 1

econ 1
music 20a waitlist is 15/35
japan 7b
nutrisci 10
public health 116 waitlist: 150/412
pe volleyball 3

telebears date: nov 5th

Does the 10% rule apply to discussions as well, or should i be more cautious with discussions?

phase 1 yo mama

I’m not sure what the 10% rule you’re referring to is but I’d say probably Econ 1, Japan 7B and either PH 116 or Music 20A. That would bring you up to 10 units. NutriSci has a lot of spaces so you might be able to get in (I’m sure a lot of people will try to phase II this class though). You’re probably going to have to choose between PH 116 and Music 20A.

isnt the 10% rule thing about how, if the class allows a certain amount of people, generally 10% of that capacity number will get off the waitlist.

anyone think my chances at music 20a or ph 116 are terrible at this momet?

Everyone gets into 116 :). Wheeler auditorium is big enough to hold 750 people.

so that means i will be phase 2’ing 116, and phase 1’ing : econ 1, japan 7b, music 20a, and volleyball.
does that sound right?

im #21 waitlist for music 20a, but my friend says alot of people end up dropping
should i keep music20a waitlist, or go get nutrisci10/pb116? (pb 116 is heavily waitlisted with bout 170, nutrisci is still in the clear)

actually music 20a is kinda popular. i was in music 25a and had thought I needed 20a so I almost dropped 25a (turns out it was the funniest class I’ve ever taken in Berkeley up to date). Anyways, 20a no one dropped (or i would say about 5 or 6 and then 2 or 3 showed up the next class because they couldn’t find the building. lmao)
