At advising during orientation I was recommended to take m027- precalc with trig based on my placement exam results. I was wondering if I could place myself in m211-calc 1, or can you only take that course if you do good enough on the placement exam. I took accelerated precalc my senior year and got a B in it and don't really want to take it again, especially since I won't get credit for it. Also I heard pre calc is harder than calculus is that true, thanks for any help.

Take M118 maybe. It’s Intro to Finite Math. I heard it’s not that hard.

For me, calculus was much harder than pre-calculus. (In high school that is)
