what type of paper do you find best for taking math notes, college ruled lined paper, graph paper, engineer paper, legal pad?

I just use graph paper.

Standard lined paper :P

What is engineer paper?

I used graph paper.

Whatever is on sale at Duane Reade.

whatever i can write on…

College ruled…

college ruled notebook with dividers has never failed.

Plain white paper, people.

I take my notes in regular college ruled notebooks.

I do my homework on white printer paper. (It would be interesting to know whether there’s any correlation between the person’s major and this)

I bet there is. Chances are that humanities and social science majors use white printer paper more frequently for their homework than science majors ;)

boooooo :p

YES to printer paper! I never have to buy looseleaf for the rest of my college career since I just take a giant pack of printer paper from the library printer at the beginning of each semester for all my notes, including math.

Use whatever the hell you have

I can’t do printer paper… I write crooked without the lines (yes, I belong in third grade).

^ Lol, I do too. It ends up curving like a rainbow by the time I’m done.

My favorite medium by far for taking notes in most of my classes is college ruled legal pads. I’m in a pretty small minority though.
