Hey, guys

I'm a freshman a PSU and I'm looking to transfer to a university with a stronger film STUDIES and/or humanities program. I'm looking into schools that allow students to transfer with 30 credits. I'm going to finish off my first semester with a 3.77 or 3.83 gpa, and I plan to keep it in that range for the next year or two until I transfer. The only university that offers good aid seems to be USC, so I've already started on the application for that. I know NYU is good, but it's just too expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have some solid extracurriculars right now with my school's newspaper, media-related activities, etc. Here are some schools people have suggested me:

University of Wisconsin-Madison
Northwestern University

That's about it. I actually prefer west coast, so if there are other universities like USC that would be awesome. I want to apply to UCs but they don't let you until you have 60 credits, so if I don't get in this year, I'll definitely apply the end of sophomore year. Also, my high school grades weren't stellar at all (not bad, but average enough to get me into some decent schools like PSU and BU). Just something to keep in mind...
