It doesn't appear to be a particularly popular major. So far, I've only been able to find it at Oxford, Harvard, UPenn, USC, and Claremont McKenna. Is it offered anywhere else? Thanks :D

Most (American) colleges let you pick classes that resemble a British PPE major. I am making a distinction across countries here because British universities do not let you take a single class outside of your major, so the only way to get a PPE combo is to major in it. That’s not true for American universities. No one in the US will stop you from being a political science major with minors in economics and philosophy or whatever combination you pick. But American universities still want you to study a major in some depth, and a major as broad as PPE has the potential of avoiding that.

B@r!um has offered some wonderful advice regarding PPE, although to specifically answer your question, I know that Duke and Pomona officially have majors in PPE (they may not be majors though - they might be certificates or something).

Actually, there is an exact program offered by one university in Canada- Mcgill University. The program is exactly called PPE and you gain a major in all three, just like oxford. Original PPE was started at oxford, and many rhodes scholars take the opportunity of doing that field while at Oxford.

Denison has it: [About Philosophy, Politics and Economics - Denison University](<a href=“Academics | Denison University”>Denison University | A top liberal arts college located in Ohio)

Colgate. I remember reading about it in the viewbook but I could be wrong.

The American University of Paris offers it, as well. I’m actually fulfilling the requirements to get it by the time I graduate. I’m an international and comparative politics major so it works well with my concentration. However, any major, at least at my university, can study PPE. Hope that helps.

UBC also offers a major in PPE

Pomona has PPE major as well:)
