What was more fun, senior year of high school or freshman year of college?

basically the title.

i didn’t have a senior year of high school,
and freshman year of college pretty much sucked ass,
except for the parts when it didn’t

in general college is very fun, but new and scary,
and if you’re not careful,
new and scary can be your downfall

(but don’t be scared of new and scary,
because that will make it worse)

Freshman year of college

Senior year, definitely. I never had much of a social life either way, but at least in my high school I was good enough to participate in theater, which is something I enjoy even though I’m not very talented. At college I couldn’t compete and I felt like I wasn’t doing anything of value other than going to class.

Freshman year.
But only if you take advantage of it and do things. I knew people who never went anywhere, not even to a movie, and only did school work. They weren’t very happy.

Senior year of HS. I went to a community college after high school, so… enough said.

freshman uni by far… and I commuted.

Writing college apps, or living on my own?

Freshman year AINEC

College, by far.

Freshman year of college. More freedom and nicer people.

Senior year…I really loved my high school and the people there. Freshman year was kind of a let down.

I really loved both years. I had the most fun with my high school friends my senior year and sorta had fun not worrying about grades as much.
Freshman year was all about new experiences and being in a new state
I really loved both :)

College. High school couldn’t compare

Freshman year for the win

freshman year!

Freshman year, by a pretty gigantic margin.

I guess it might depend on where you attend college but I have to say my first year of college was amazing, due to the new found independence, away from parents, off campus apartment, and a bank account supplied by the parents, not having to work a job on top of that, lol, can someone say Amen. I was engaged in many extra curriculars that aren’t offered on your average everyday college activity list, lol, (get the hint). For me, senior year of HS sucked ballz, was boring, and wasn’t as character building, thrill seeking, fun, or interesting as first year of college was. I mean, I loved the lecture setting as opposed to a HS classroom. The science/engineering material was very interesting, some of the prof. very hilarious, and overall just an amazing experience. Also, having teachers that had the same rational personality that I had, and had the same literal views about the world was also a bonus. It was like heaven on earth. I mean, I guess depending on your obligations/financial situation college can be rather stressful or enjoyable. But, I was fortunate enough to not be in that situation so that might influence my experience rather to the positive side. Another positive was I maintained a A average gpa my freshman year taking it easy, while many were studying their eye ballz out and trying a whole lot harder. So, I guess your ability to absorb information the first time you see it has something to do with your college exp. as well. I guess I got lucky. Whatever your situation, try to enjoy the college exp. as much as you can, and try to get as much out of your classes as you can. I always liked going to my prof’s office and picking at their brains, asking about their research, and finding out cool information. Get the most out of your education, don’t be a book worm, sometimes going to your prof. for extra instruction can lead to more of an understanding of the subject than beating your head against a book can. Best of luck to all.

b bu bum bump

Freshman year >> HS

It took me a month of doing a pre-frosh summer program to appreciate learning for the sake of learning. I love the ppl here at school and makes me realize how superficial the HS kids were!

Freshman year, hands down. My senior year had some great moments, but overall it wasn’t that great.
