Hey, JHU is my "dream school" - as in if i got in, i would be extremely happy and would go there. I think the main obstacle in my way is the SAT, and I wanted to know what people who recently got in (past 2 yrs) had on their SATs. On my 1st try i got a 1910....which i will easily up to atleast a 2100 because i majorly screwed up the math, which is supposed to be my easiest section. Anyways, I've been fretting a lot about this goddamn SAT...so any input would be helpful because i think no matter how much i prep...i dont think i can go above a 2170ish.....

Hopkins doesn't prioritize heavy weight on the SAT's. Some schools create cut-off scores, but JHU would never do that considering their holistic review process. A 1910, though low compared to many scores of other applicants, is strong enough to give you a shot. In fact, I personally know several students who got into Hopkins with SAT's in the 1900's.

Don't fret about it too much. If you can get the score up, great. But otherwise, if you have a well-rounded resum

definitely do ED if it's your top choice.

yea. ED helps you a LOT

My D got accepted RD into BME.Her SAT scores were in the 1900's.

My friend got in ED with a score in the upper 1800s. (Though other credentials were very strong.)

I got accepted RD with a 1960 SAT, but if you combine my best scores I got a 2050.

i got a 2370 (770 in math because i missed one..got owned by the curve), but my gpa was lower, so it balanced out. accepted RD.

dude, i only had a 2010 and i got in rd as well. just have the gpa and some ecs that you care about and your fine.
