I got in regular decision and I have always had straight As. Last semester, I got straight As but 3 of them were A-s (all advanced classes). I currently have straight As but I do still have A- in those same three classes. I think it is pretty likely my calculus grade will drop to a B+ and it is even possible I could end up with a total three B+ in those classes. Could I get rescinded/academic probation if I got 3 Bs? Thank you!
You will be fine. If you got a bunch of Cs, you might get a letter from Stanford asking you what happened. Actually, Stanford rarely rescinds admission offers. They have asked students to take a gap year if they have concerns about how serious you are about your studies.
do they have a specific GPA or anything that I must maintain? I know that for UCs it is 3.0 and nothing below a C
@mkm888 You will not be rescinded for having 3 Bs…Stanford expects that some students will have senioritis…but, don’t overdo it…try to end your high school career with some modicum of dignity and respect (with lots of fun sprinkled in) for yourself…because I know most of you still can’t fathom getting too many Bs…let alone Cs!
