What words do you like?

To serve as a parallel to the "What words do you hate?" thread.

I think incorrigible is a pretty awesome word. I'll just go around calling people that from now on.

indefatigable. it’s just a beast word.

Jaded, sinister, macabre, honeycomb, smithereens, wraith, lithe, stochastic, crumpled, epithet, antimony, null.

Lugubrious. I like the way it sounds.

honestly, seriously, bite, done, wasted, jaded

Thus, uber, inception, mongrel.

So many more that I can’t remember. But when I do remember I’ll be flooding this thread!

Capricious!

Relax 10char

Quixotic and hyperbole

I like effervescence!

Confabulate. I love it

Callipygean. Try it at a Harvard bar.

prestidigitator! vicissitude

Defenestrate. And a lot more. My friend is a total Latin geek, so she teaches me all these random words in English with Latin roots.

I had a stuffy middle school teacher who always said, “Observe decorum.” very British!

Poop, doggy, balls, juxtapose, hamartia, luftwaffe, privyet.

obsequious, attenuate, corpulent

resplendent, shibboleth, dromedary, rococo

Gucci Gucci, Louis Louis, Fendi Fendi, Prada

Oh wait…that’s Kreayshawn o.0

gallimaufry (learned it from a NYT column), protean, quiescent , recalcitrant, sophomoric, sanguine (I just find this word hilarious because the roots = complete opposite of the meaning)
