What would adcoms think of this.

23 reading ACT
650 reading SAT

29 (10 essay) ACT
580 (9 essay) SAT

What would adcoms most likely conclude from these scores.

time to bump this sucker.

they probably wouldn't give it a thought--too many apps to review. they'd use the best score in making an evaluation.

many schools recognize that kids can have a bad day due to nerves, exhaustion (test is way too long)

good luck

should i send in those ACT scores in then?

I would probably feel more comfortable with the SAT scores.

depends on what you got on the other sections, i would send both

here are my scores:

math: 750
writing: 580
reading: 650

ACT:23 reading
english: 29 (10 essaY)
math: 32
science 30

i got my SAT II scores back. Lets just say i'm quite disappointed:

bio: 530 (took bio soph year so I was rusty. current bio class hasn't been very productive)

math II: 750
Math I: 770

now what do you guys think. should i send in ACT?

Send SAT. However, sending ACT will not destroy you. Adcoms know how to nuance these things. Not much to worry about.

oh and i'm going into premed. thats the main reason why I've been contemplating if i should send science scores or not since a 530 bio score might send off signals that I'm not a strong science person. a 30 science may look decently nice.

hmm
