<p>I am applying to UCs and am planning on taking Math 2 and Chemistry subject tests. I see a lot of people on the forums consistently saying they get 800s...but I doubt I can do that. For a UC what would be a good score range for a subject test?</p>

<p>IMO, 700+. Anything above a 700 will keep you competitive. Of course, getting above a 750 would be awesome but don’t think your scores have to be that high for UC’s.</p>
<p>Well the difficult varies quite heavily b/w the UC’s. For UCSD , UCSB, and UCD around 670-720 should be perfect for them. For UCLA 750 would prob be ideal and for UCB it would prob be near 800 (760-800) Unsure about the other UCs D:</p>
