What would the best schedule to have at UCSD?

PM yours first

7 weeks 'till

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys can critique my 07 Fall Schedule.

Here it is:
1. Making of the Modern World 1 (4 units)
2. Econ 1: Principles of Microeconomics (4 units)
3. Math20C: Calculus&Analyt Geom/Sci&Engnr (4 units)
4. Phil31: Hist/Phil Ancient Philosophy (4 units)
5. Freshman Seminar: one of either Paradox or Landmark U.S. Antitrust Cases

Is the courseload manageable for an incoming freshman?

Also, can anybody explain the difference between lecture and discussion?

Thanks!

yes.

lecture = tons of people, professor lectures, midterms given.
discussion = fewer people (25-40), grad student or undergrad TAs lecture on stuff covered in class (so it's like a review), quizzes given (if applicable), essays/tests handed back.

What's the best schedule for a human bio major? What classes should i take for GE's and so on. I'm in warren college.

^^ math. chem. warren writing. and a GE of your choice, whatever sounds interesting. i'm not familiar with warren GEs.
