Morning or afternoon? clustered or spread apart?

is it better to schedule your classes towards the beginning of the day or towards the end? and should you cluster them or spread them apart?

I’m open to all ideas. Please share what you have in mind in terms of how you want to schedule your classes.

I prefer morning classes and clustered together because I lived in Cuarto and didn’t
want to keep going back and forth to campus. Also since I’ll be living off campus
this year and even further away, I scheduled the same way. I would try to eat in
the DC before class and this was an advantage because it wasn’t very crowded early. However, I was the only one in my suite that wanted morning classes. Also, keep in mind, even if you have
morning classes, the labs or dicussions always seem to be late afternoon and evening. Clustering would be helpful if you are trying to get a job.

Um, I would suggest just trying to get classes you need/want for your major period. Anything beyond that is gravy.

But at the very least, science classes really suck in the morning. Doesn’t matter if you have Enderle if you’re never alert/awake enough to take advantage of it. So personally, I like afternoon sci classes and night time labs, but again, just getting the classes…

it’s all personal preference. are you a morning person? a night owl? do you have trouble getting up early? are you not used to sleeping in? etc etc etc. we can’t answer these for you
but yeah, get the classes you need

Its really all personal preference. Personally I think having classes in the 10-3 range is ideal. However I ALWAYS pick a good professor at a bad time, or a okay proff at a good time. Ex: I’m taking chem 2a at 7:30 in the fall since I hear the proff is really good, even though I’d prefer not to wake up that early.

However, as an incoming freshman, you really will have the last priority, so I really wouldn’t be thinking about your class times too much, and worry more about just getting interesting/relevant classes.

chem 2a, 730? sounds like enderle. good choice. :)
