Whats a 33 in terms of SAT score?

2190-2200 approx.

mattw where'd u get that info from?

according to this, it's a 2220-2270

yeah I agree with bicycle, it's a mid-2200

Holy mother **** that kills my 2010 SAT

The Wikipedia comparison isn't accurate. The source for it leads simply to UC eligibility. Try this: Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score

wow I know people who arent even that smart get 30+ on this thing with only a bit of practice. Getting a 2200 on SAT is 10x more skillful then getting a 33 on ACT.

Well it depends on the school..none of those are accurate, really. If you are planning on a UC, like UC Berkeley you can use the eligibility index calculator. I calcluated my 28 and it is about equivalent to a 1920 SAT.

That is the problem with the SAT, study like 15 hours and get a 2200. SAT is all about studying the test

Great. Because I am only applying to UCs

Yeah the SAT is usually all about how anal you are with studying for tests. I KNOW I could get a 2200 is i studied like some people do.

Yeah, fortify try it out. Once you get your UC index total, then divide that by three and see what SAT correlates with that number.

@BHadoC
You can't really say anything about getting that 2200. Some people just don't do as well on the SAT even with studying a lot.

Basically what he is trying to say is that both tests are different. Some people do better on the ACT others do better on the SAT

bicyclekick, here's the site i used SAT vs. ACT Scores

also, i know someone who got a 2350 SAT and a 32 ACT so it does really depend on the person.
