whats an A at your high school?

At my school its 90-100. But i heard other schools are much more generous. Just curious, whats yours?

same...although we don't officially have As or Bs...we use the percentile grading system

94
.......

93-100, but for AP classes (depends on the teacher actually), it's different. for my ap euro class, an A on a test was a 70-100 (tests were that hard). AP history was 93-100, AP Physics- 70-100 (KILLER CLASS). AP French 90-100, AP Calc 93-100 (but recently, he switched to 90-100 for tests... and AP English 93-100

At my school, an A is anything above a 50%....

....just kidding :D

A = 94-100 at my school, and it's the same for AP/IB classes, even the deadly ones. If everyone makes a D, then everyone gets a D. No curves or different scales for IB/AP.
:(

That's where class rank really helps. I hope your school ranks.

an A is 95-100 at my school. theres no such thing as a+ for us, but i think thats the same for many schools. its practically impossible to get an A for semester grades bc the teachers are sooo tough, but most of the top tier colleges know that about our school, at least.

90 to a 100 for everything.. its a killer because we have teachers who dont curve when the highest grade in the class was a 56%

94 up is an A :(

90%+ = A
calculus : 85%+ = A

class rank is unweighted so if you get a B in AP Calculus u are put behind someone w/ an A in geometry.... lol...

or if you get As in hard classes it is the same as getting As in easy classes.... like some one get an A in AP US hist is the same as some one w/ an a in regular history ....
(for class ranking)

90 to 100 but some are 95 to 100 (mostly science and some AP'S)

90-100 A for everything.. except AP Calc B/C (with the hardest teacher.. but also the most experienced and probably the best math teacher) A is 85%. school also doesnt rank.

90-100 everything..APs and IBs only matter in ranking, they add 1 point to your GPA.

i wish i went to your school Paul

Aat my school is 85-100

Nana, what's so good about my school? we both have the 90-100 scale!

92-100 at mine

an A is 90-100 here, but APs and Honors courses are weighted heavily.
