i just recently recieved my first B for my semester (and its going to my midterm report) as Spanish IV → 91. at my school that’s a b (a = 93 ), do you think colleges will care and see it a a B? or im kidding myself and they wouldnt even care about Bs anyway schools = upenn, harvard, yale, cornell, duke, jhu

86 and above is an A at my school.

A's at my school are left up to each individual teacher, in AP US History an 83 can get you an A; while, in AP Environmental Science a 91 is a B. In all I don't think that one B will effect you too much as long as you have good EC and test scores.

wow...93 down as a B sucks...but 86 up as an A is awesome....

O ya...I dont think that one B will keep you out of those schools provided that you are a generally qualified applicant...I have probably 10 B's and those schools are close to my list (Duke and JHU are on my list...)

I'm really jealous... A is 96-100 in my school.

A is 93 and above, A-: 90-92, B+ 87-89, B 83-86...etc.

An A is being the top 2.5% of the class

A is 94 for most classes, 90 for a few of the AP classes, 12 pt. scale for some others (mostly math). Pretty much up to the teacher.

At my school its

95-100= A+ (4.5)
90- 94 = A (4.0)

harsh, 89.5 is an A for most cases at my school, for some teachers, 90

"Officially," a 90 is an A(-) at my school, but most teachers will round up from an 89.

94 and Up is an A. There is no A-.

90-100A 80-89B at my school....I only have one B...I hate geometry

93+ is an A, no minuses or pluses

94-100 = A
90-93 = B+

Alot of applications ask for your guidance counsellor to explain your grading system, so they'll know that you could have a B at your school and an A anywhere else, or you could have an A at your school and a B anywhere else.

My school doesn't assign letter grades.

90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
60-69 = D
<60 = F

We use normal rounding, so an 89.5 becomes a 90 and an 89.4 becomes an 89.

93 - 100 = A
85 - 92 = B
77 - 84 = C
70 - 76 = D
69 and below = F

100- A+ (4.0)
95-99- A (4.0)
93-94- A- (3.7)
91-92- B+ (3.4)
87-90- B (3.0)
85-86- B- (2.7)
83-84- C+ (2.4)
79-82- C (2.0)
77-78- C- (1.7)
75-76- D+ (1.0)
72-74- D (1.0)
70-71- D- (1.0)
<70 - F (0.0)

Depends on your class.
In regular... probably 80%+.
The IB standardization screws the whole thing up for us though... math is probably around 75%+ and english is around 85%+. Fun times.
I heart Canada. Less grade inflation.
