just curious

well, at my school that would be a 3.0

3.4ish.......

Thanks. Sharpie, my school does alon the same lines as yours.

3.9 out of 5.0

3.33-3.37, somewhere in there

89 here...

...3.4....

equivalent to a B+ or a 3.3 on a 4 point scale

89 ~ 3.0 ........

At my school,

89 = B+ = 3.33 on a 4.00 scale

It'd be an 89.. lol my school does the same thing (unfortunately). Actually now they've started awarding extra points onto people's averages in AP and other advanced courses. It still isn't as good as weighted gpa's though. :( Oh well....

For an individual class

89= 3.0

For an actual unweighted GPA (on a 4.00 scale)

With grade transition= 3.45
With actual percentages= 3.56

...Hmm.. I think now I have a hunch why my school doesn't bother with weighting grades :D

in my school 89 average would be just unbelievable.....
no one crosses 85 odd

for our school 84-89 is a B. so u'll have a 3.0 at my school.

84-89 is B? wow. 85-93 is a B here.

we just call it a B+. 1 point higher and it would be an A-. But even a 100 is an A- here, because for some odd reason, plain A's do not exist in our grading system. So for that reason, I would consider a B+ an A- here.

For all of you people who said 3.0 for unweighted GPA, I don't get it.

So... if you got an A in two classes and a B in three classes your GPA would be 3.0 weighted?

or if you got a 100, 100, 80, 80, 80 you'd get a 3.0 unweighted?

3.4 Gpa

83-86 = B (3.0)
87-89 = B+ (3.4)
90-93 = A- (3.7)
93-100 = A (4.0)
