is it better to get a high SAT II score (670+) and a low AP score (of the same subject)

OR

to get a high AP score(4 or 5) but low SATII of the same subject(about 500-550)

what would colleges prefer if you only scored high on one but not the other(lets just say the school doesnt accept college credit even if u get a 5 but they still consider it)

for top colleges, they'll answer that they want to see top scores from both APs and SAT IIs; they simply don't want low scores from either. If you're planning on going to very selective schools, plan on scoring really high for both. If you're planning on going to rather selective schools, plan on getting higher in SAT IIs than AP's. Remember: the AP's are only placement exams to get you thru some college courses; the SAT IIs measure your skills gained in HS. In top schools like Harvard, they don't care a lot about APs even as much as getting high scores on SAt IIs. Which is more important? SAT IIs.
