What's better...the percentage going on or the number of students going in?

Does anybody have the admission rate for each law school? I'm not looking specifically for the biggest number of students from each UG school going into law school...which is shown in this link...

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=57858%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=57858</a></p>

but rather the highest percentage of UG students in each school going into law school.

Meaning...I notice in the UV rates it shows this (in this bottom link)...

Rather...I want to know if the UG stduents from UV who applied to law school have a higher admission rate of going to law school than ppl from Duke, Princeton, etc. etc.

Meaning...I rather see this

UG students going to law school (hypothetically)...

UV 48/100 = 48%
Duke 19/30 = 63%
Princeton 13/30 = 43%

So in conclusion...Is there a link that shows this information?

Or do you believe that the percentage and admission rates are not as important (which shows that you're better off in Duke rather than UV), and what's more important is the number of students in each UG school that goes to each law school (showing that you're better off in UV rather than Duke)?

And I'm sorry if I sound confusing (I'm following the British Election Postresults on CSPAN)...I'll reply to anyone right away.

P.S. This information will be part of my decision on where I will transfer as a junior, and it isn't the only thing that I'm looking at. I understand that a high GPA and a high LSAT is needed to get into a good law school and is more important than where you go...but I want to see which is the best school to most prepare me for getting into a good law school.

Yay!!! A fellow CSPAN nerd!

Anyways... unfortunately, I've never seen such statistics. But what you can do to improve the meaning of the numbers that you do have is to compare the number of matriculants from each college to the number of students in each college. For example, it may seem strange that there are more UNC grads than Yale grads, but UNC has hell of a lot more undergrads.

Geography. A lot of UNC grads probably want to stay in the South, and UVA is one of the two best schools in the area (that and Duke). Conversely, a lot of Yale grads probably want to stay up North or go West, so they're applying to H,Y, S, Penn, and those schools.
