I know what to major in some sort of animal biology; either zoological, marine, or ecological. I’m looking at USF and UF, and both have programs in all three, but each school calls it something different.
I’m just wondering if that will make a difference when it comes time to find a career, or if I should look just strictly at what the major requirements are?
At USF the majors are: Integrative Animal Biology, Environmental Biology, and Marine Biology.
At UF: Zoology, Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, and Marine Science.
Look at the major curriculum/classes.
UF’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) is outstanding, outside of marine biology/science, it’s an easy choice.

doesn’t matter career-wise or grad school-wise.
The courses are what matters.
Colleges can “rebrand” majors all they want, but everyone knows escargots are still slimy snails.
I figured that was the case. Thanks for the help!
