What's more important SAT or SAT II's?

Hi, Im late for the Nov Sat registration.
I am an International, I could late register for the Nov SAT but I would have to travel at least 8hrs by bus or 3 or 2 by plane since there aren't seats available around my city. The trip would cost me almost the same as taking 3 SAT's.

I have another option and it is to take it in December, but I was planning on taking the SAT II's in December since I want to take World History, and WH isn't available in November either January, only Dec and June.
So I could take the SAT II's in Dec and the reasoning test on Jan.
Unless the SAT reasoning is more important then I would take it in November and Dec SAT II's or stop stressing out and take the SAT in December and US History and something else (where Im probably not as good as with WH)

Thanks

Where do plan to apply? Not too many colleges in the US require SAT IIs so it would be helpful to know which schools you are taking a bead on.

Thanks Hudsonvalley, Im applying to HYPS and Brown.

I think I would focus on what gets you into the foyer (SAT I) before I worry about what might get you into the drawing room. If it were me I wouldn’t have waited this long to start testing. But since you are in a bit of a jam I think I’d take the SAT I in November and the SAT II in December. If you still need to bring up your SAT I scores there is always January (for Harvard and Yale at least).
