What's more important?

I'm volunteering at a hospital and planning to volunteering there until I graduate (which is in roughly 3 years). Thing is, I don't know how many hours to do a week. I would like to do one a week for 1.5 hours, so I have time for my studying. If it's recommended that I do twice a week, I wouldn't mind also (the more experience, the better). People say that sticking to a volunteer job is good, which is what I'm going to do. So, the question is, 3 hours a week or 1.5?

Thanks. :).

I volunteer 3 hours a week at a hospital, honestly it really isn’t that much time put away. That extra 1.5 hours adds up, and it may set you apart from another person applying to the same school. Plus, it’s always good to help out as much as you can.
