Something along the lines of,

Our students measure success by having spent more hours at night studying than sleeping"

Anybody know exactly how it goes? This is rather important to me.

Thanks.

Never heard anything like that one, but how about:

"That's great in practice, but how does it work in theory?"

Haha, I like that one, JHS.

I remember reading the quote. I believe it was made by a dean some years ago. I will see if I can dig it up for you.

idad, if you can help me out I'd really appreciate it :D

I think it's...

You know you're successful when the number of hours you study is more than the number of hours you sleep

^^^^ That does sound correct, I just wish I could find it on their website somewhere.

I'm still looking, but have not yet located it. There are two variants, one is close to what has been discussed, it is: You know you are working hard when your GPA is greater than the number of ours you sleep a night. The other was a direct quote form a dean when discussing the "academic boot camp" description of The College.

I think that's it.

Do you remember where you found this?

Tks iDad, using this in a research paper on sleep deprevation and universities, and our teacher is rather anal about sources and accuracy.

I've searched the internet for awhile and I can't find it... but I remember seeing it on the old UChicago site 2 or 3 years ago

you know you're doing well when your gpa is higher than the number of hours you sleep a night.
