What's the best CC near me that I can transfer into a UC like San Diego

<p>I really want to go to San Diego because they have certain majors and I want to live near the beach plus its in socal..I have barely a 3.00 and think its better to go to a CC then transfer to save money and be more prepared.</p>

<p>If you go the transfer route does SAT/ACT matter?</p>

<p>If I go to a CC id go to the ones close to where I live to save money and I live in norcal: Alameda,Berlekey,Merrit,Laney,Chabot or maybe San Fransico are my choices but I live between Oakland&Hayward and lots of ppl from hs go to Chabot or Laney :(</p>

<p>No, you don’t need SAT scores to transfer out of a CCC(though I do believe there are a select few schools that require SAT scores, even for a transfer). As far as which one you could go to, well, that’s really up to you. All community colleges are basically vehicles to getting into a 4 year. Do well wherever you go and you’ll be fine.</p>
