What's the best CSU school for Business?

Hello! This is my very first post on this forum and just trying to get some more info about my future. I’m a current high school senior from California who’s trying to get a business administration management major. I’m wondering what’s the best school in the CSU system for business. Thanks for reading!

Lots of fine b schools including SDSU, CPSLO, Long Beach State, Fullerton, Pomona, Chico, Fresno and more.

Find the right school for you and that’s most important.

Good luck.

Thank you, tsbna44, very much for your opinion. You named some schools that I didn’t think about and I’ll have to check them out.

Stanislaus?

That’s interesting cause I didn’t ever hear about this school when I looked at a list of the CSU schools. I looked it up and it looks interesting.

I’d consider San Diego State as well.

Generally speaking, CPSLO/Fullerton(esp accounting)/SDSU are more well known.

I haven’t thought about CPSLO much. I should research them more.

Here is the CSU impacted matrix link. This help’s you narrow down possible schools that may be more competitive vs. Likely/Safety schools.

If you list your CSU capped weighted GPA, HS course rigor, your local admission area, if you are First Generation and EC’s, posters might be able to give you more helpful suggestions.

SLO calculates their CSU GPA differently by including 9th-11th grades vs the other CSU’s which are 10-11th grades for the a-g courses. SLO also caps the # of Honors points for the eligible courses taken 10-11th at 8 semesters just like the rest of the CSU’s. Their selection criteria is linked below and their a-g course recommendations exceed the minimum required listed for the CSU’s.

Business majors can be found at the majority of the CSU’s. What is considered “best” overall, may not be the best for you since fit is important.

Thank you very much! That’s a really useful resource.
