What's the best prep book for math 2?

It seems like the consensus is that Barron's is much harder than the actual test, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Has anyone used PR or Kaplan with good results. I am planning on taking the test Nov. 1st and want a decent score 600+.

i got over 700 by skimming about 10 pages of Barons the morning of...
If you know your pre-calc/college algebra, I think you'll do fine because the curve is really good :)
my friend has Kaplan and she got over 700

if you skip pre calc and just take calculus, would you be at a disadvantage when taking 2c?

Yeah probably. Since Math IIC test goes up to PreCalc they have some topics that are exclusively covered in PreCalc. I was like you when I went in to the test. Ended up with a 790 :(

If you are only aiming for 600+ that means you could get up 25 wrong. I think if you are decent at math you could easily achieve that score. But if you really want to prep skim over the topics you are weak in Barrons

Ah, i wasn't aware that the curve was that generous. I guess i should aim a little higher than lol. Does having a ti 89 give you a big advantage? If so, on what?

yeah probably 700+ is reasonable.
