<p>If you can get your SAT Math+CR score above 1400, then University of Alabama will give you a full tuition scholarship. You’d still have to pay room & board, plus transportation costs.</p>
<p>If your net cost is $12K-$15K and your family is able and willing to cover only the first year, that does not necessarily mean the college will step in to cover those costs for the next three years. They may not. You need to go through all steps in the financial aid application process to determine how much help (if any) the school will provide each year. </p>

<p>You cant work illegally here. Each year, your visa will depend on you being able to show that you have the money for the following school year. Your visa for your second year would be denied since you would have no funds to show…even if you had some crazy plan to work.</p>
