whats the craziest thing u did in college?

nothing too crazy since i'm more of the study/quiet type instead of the party/drinking type (same with many of my friends here)

but one day while I was studying in my room at midnight or so (had a quiz the next day) two of my friends came into my room and said they wanted to smoke weed and drink. and these are people that don't usually do such things, so it was really weird. but i was like whatever, so we found someone with weed. Smoked for a bit, then went back to my room and took shots of my roommate's vodka and whiskey, and then went down to westwood (the college town-type place near ucla) which was like deserted considering it was about 2 or 3 AM by now. We went to a CVS, bought cigarettes (none of us actually smoked), came back to campus. we went to the stadium, found an area on the far side of the track (it was really damn cold and we were all in tshirts) and laid down looking up at the stars while smoking cigarettes. we considered just laying there and sleeping but the cold eventually drove us back to our rooms.

odd but enjoyable experience.

oh and about that quiz, i ended up with a 100.

did u get sick? I would!

well the funny thing was, i actually thought to myself "i'm going to get sick after this and regret it later." I had been sick just the week before and I was just getting over that. But everything turned out fine.

great!! hey, check out my jokes thread!

I'm applying to NYU as well - if get in - that's where I'm going because of the location. I always wanted to live in New York, it's like a freaking magnet. I'm Russian to by the way, are there a lot of Russians in Nyu?

NickiJane! you should get it pierced, it doesn't hurt at all! and is totally worth it!

how does it affect eating. and kissing. and...you know...

Did you just get it done?!?! Is it still swollen??? My friend who has it done said it didn't really hurt, and it was only swollen for like a week...but I'm still scared!

And then there's that whole people thinking you're slutty thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow your posts make me sad...but at least you're all happy at the thought of college. yea not gonna lie, loved high school..hell of a lot of work considering my high school is a pressure cooker and its so insanely competitive, but still, i have awesome friends. been friends w/ them since elementary school and middle school. so im excited for college but sad at the thought of everyone leaving....coz they are really awesome people, they stand out in the crowd at my school, they have truly unforgettable unique personalities, they're smart, nice yet they know how to have fun and act crazy. im almost worrying that i wont find these kind of people when i go to college

Yeah, i got it done last friday, and I admit I was scared because it looks painful, but the first step is that the piercer tells you to rinse your mouth with listerine for 45 seconds and then he dries your tongue, so your tongue feels numb, like you really can't feel it and then he sits you in a chair and then well I closed my eyes and then he tells you to blow in and out and he would pierce it in the way out so you don't feel it at all and it looks really good. The only thing is that you can't drink alcohol for a few weeks and it takes only 3-4 weeks to completely heal. Eating was only hard like the first two days after that you get used to it. You do have to rinse your mouth with mouthwash after you eat anything that is not water or ice cubes. People can think whatever, but I love it and that's all that matters to me, and its super hott. Oh yeah and you can't kiss or have oral sex for a few weeks, not that we would do that anyway.... lol...

poked some smot. it was fun.

Hahahaha wow thanks for those details!!!!!!!! I really REALLY want to get it done now!! I think I am going to! :)

really? thats awesome

Hahah was that sarcasm?

no. what you want to do first is find someone who's done it before and then u want to make sure you don't feel worried just relax.

oh nvm, i thought u were talking about doiing something else, u were talking about piercing your toe or somethign.

yay! yeah go with a friend and so she can hold your hand! Like when i got mine done, because your tongue is out you start drooling i guess, and i got scared cuz i felt warm liquid and i thought it was blood and i thought i was gonna faint but actually it was just saliva! it was good that my friend told me this while sitting there, cuz i had my eyes closed and that calmed down a lot and the fact that the piercer took the niddle out of a closed package made me feel so much more safe! and i did not bleed, I was astonished at the fact that i did not bleed at all! no blood, not even a drop, if your piercer does it right, you're not supposed to bleed at all. And if you decided that you don't like it, then you can take it out and the best part since my parents would kill me if they knew so i bought a flesh colored retainer, its like a very small plastic thingy in form of a rod and it can totally conceal it ( just in case you have an important interview or something coming up) and you can change it yourself so not only can you hide it but its a concealable piercing! haha, feel free to ask me any questions!

UVAKID- you can't drink alcohol? a firend of mine had it done and she said that they told her since any kind of alcohol will kill germs, she should/could drink to help keep it clean

no way! are you serious? oh that's interesting, cuz they even told me NOT to use listerine because it contained alcohol and instead recommend Biotene, a non-alcoholic mouthwash, it was sketch though, bc, the piercer told me i was only "allowed" to drink clear liquor (e.g vodka) but then doesn't THAT have alcohol! lol, I don't know...

Ahhh so wait, could you not talk like right after you got it done?? My parents would obviously kill me too, so I was thinking of getting it done before I go away for the weekend or something. I AM JEALOUS OF YOU

Oh no! you can obviously talk, its just the very first night for me, it was hard to say words with "th" in them, but by the next day i was talking perfectly fine. haha, yeah, if you get it done, do it when you go away to college because that will be some time 'til you see your parents and when you see them you can just change your barbell to the flesh colored one (which is like so so small) and then just change it back when you go back to school....
