I've been reading the forums for awhile and there seems to be some ridicule about thunderbird. I've read that it was ranked #1 for international business for US news & world report. What's the deal with Thunderbird? I've never heard of this school and I understand since they're ranked #1 in this category, the school can't be that bad education wise. So why the notoriety for this school on these forums?

theres a school called thunderbird? how ignorant of me.

i thought it was the email client.

Thunderbird is focused exclusively on post-graduate level international business. If you aren't interested in international business you aren't going to like the place. If you are, you probably will. It depends entirely on your professional goals.

Read all about it at Thunderbird School of Global Management

i hear it has good placement record. As for the academics...well aren't all MBAs the same (they cover HBS case studies).

for international business it's top of the line. only international tho.
