Whats the diff?

<p>I wanted to know what exactly is the difference between Economics and Business Economics as a major. UCI does not offer a bus econ, but an econ degree. I am very interested in economics and put it as my alternate major in my college app, I was wondering which major should I go into if I wanted to work in the private sector dealing with economics.</p>

<p>I'm assuming that you're referring to the Biz Econ major at UCLA? I am a current MBA student at UCLA and my classmates who did the Biz Econ major here said that it really wasn't different than a regular econ degree. It's not like the students take classes at Anderson.</p>
