World is a beast because you have to cover so much material. It's just a beast of work.

So far IB/APUSH does not seem that hard. Just review your notes everyday and make notecards!!

True brownorbust, it's a lot of material to cover in AP World History, but the hardest part about AP World History is telling how everything relates to each other. Also... You have to know how a lot about religions and when they were started in APWH.

I will give you an example of an essay question from one of my Reading Quizzes:
-->Example Essay Question (Classical Civilizations): Compare and Contrast Confucianism and Daoism in the early Chinese Civilizations. Make sure to explain who found these "political beliefs" and how they affected different civilizations in the classical period.

Now.... To me, that's a lot to remember and to tell in just an essay question.

luckily the curve is generally generous. Therefore the world exam is not difficult.

I haven't taken world, but I thought Euro was a lot harder than US. With US everything basically follows logically from everything else; learn a few patterns and you're set.

Also, I studied several hours a week for Euro, not at all for US, and scored exactly the same on both mock tests (don't know about the real thing, just that I got 5s on both).

It is possible that I was better at History in 11th than 10th grade, so I didn't need to work as hard.

Feuler, it can be that APEH broke you into a study habit and the study habit made APUSH easier to pass because you knew how to do things in an AP History class. (Just a theory....)
