The hardest course I’ve taken would probably be AP environmental science or APUSH
AP Euro or Honors Chem. I took H. Chem freshman year, and I’m in APE right now.
AP physics virtual school (online class) pretty much self teaching to an AP science class.
For some reason I had a lot of trouble in bio honors freshman year. Besides that probably APUSH or dual enrollment Anatomy and physiology Lab. The professor has a 13% pass rate._. I barely have a B.
Physiology. I eked out with an A (barely), but that course was hard as ****! I would never want to become a doctor, lol.
Though I’ve taken a lot of classes that sounded harder (differential equations, various other AP classes), I’d still say AP chemistry. I had a teacher with a PhD in chemistry who had been a college professor before becoming a high school teacher. She was amazing, but I worked my butt off for that grade. I remember lots of late-night study sessions and sleep deprivation.
Bioscience waaaaaaay back in the middle school days (My teacher was a nightmare). We had group projects every day and my team was so disorganized and uncooperative, along with really long labs with WAAAY TOO MUCH ADVANCED MATH, and atrocious pop-tests. It wasn’t even honors or anything, just an elective.
Lucky me, honors and AP classes at my hs aren’t tough if you study/get enough sleep. cx
Probably AP Physics I right now
Why is it hard?
Mine was Algebra 2. I took it in my junior year of high school. I did pretty well first semester on the basic stuff, like; functions, quadratic formula, and polynomials. Until I got in to second semester and we started learning about trigonometry. Boy did I get lost big time. I ended up with a D second semester. Hate it!! :(( So glad im done though.
AP Biology most definitely.
I’m currently a sophomore and the classes I’ve taken so far are:
Spanish 1
Spanish 2
Spanish 3 Honors
English Honors 1
English Honors 2
English Honors 3 (currently enrolled)
Biology 1 Honors
Chemistry 1 Honors (currently enrolled)
Algebra 1 Honors
Geometry Honors
Algebra 2 (currently enrolled)
Criminal Justice Operations 1
Criminal Justice Operations 2 (currently enrolled)
AP World History (currently enrolled)
AP Psychology (currently enrolled)
Sociology (currently enrolled)
Introduction to Information Technology
Digital Design 1 (currently enrolled)
Creating 3D Art
Creating 2D Art
Hope (currently enrolled)
Out of all these courses, the hardest for me was English Honors 2. There was tons of reading, analyzing everything, writing a lot of analytical, and rhetorical essays, etc. Honestly it almost felt like it should have been an AP class but I guess that’s what she was prepping us for. Anyways I hated that class and I got straight C’s the whole year, only managing a final grade of a B because of an A on the final exam.
6th grade English. I can explain…
When transitioning from 5th grade to middle school, my homework load went from virtually none to about 2 hours worth. The teachers gave us work that looked like it was college level stuff and couldn’t explain things into terms that I understood, even when I asked for help.
I’m a sophomore and have only taken one AP but…
Honors Bio - Hardest, I skipped freshmen science so I didn’t know as much as the sophomores did.
AP Gov - Not the “hardest” but the most work intensive and there’s a lot of information that you need to absorb in a relatively short amount of time. My school has been in session for a little more than a month and have completed Chapters 1,2, and 5 with discussions and simulations in between. Really fun and interesting though, highly recommend.
Scratch what I said earlier about Honors Chem… AP Chem is hands-down, the hardest class I’ve taken.
Honors Econ. Only B I’ve ever gotten (for a quarter, got an A overall though). We had an AP book and it honestly seemed like the authors tried to explain concepts in the most convoluted way possible. Before on I thought maybe business was in my future. Now I know it’s not.
AP US Gov
Probably Trig/Pre Calculus this year and Intermediate Algebra/Trig last year… I am so not a math person. I did good in algebra 1 and geometry but beyond that. Atleast in college the only math I will need to take is " Mathametics for Teaching and Learning 1 and 2"
Contrary to most, AP Chem is my favorite. Most difficult is Precalc.
I have AP Chem right now and I’m doing fine (most everything we have done has been a review of H Chem, just 10x harder). I love Chem so I don’t consider it to be my hardest class (yet… It probably will be). Right now I’d have to say APUSH. I don’t like history/english
