What's the longest time you went without sleeping?

36 hoursish? with very little sleep the night before as well. strangely, i was fine. i really want to see what would happen if i were to stay up for 2 or 3 days.

One time, I went 2 days without sleeping. XD

Around 1 day probably.
I'm weaksauce.

75 hours.

I can't sleep in hotel rooms...
or on 1200 mile Amtrak rides....

About 70 hours. One of my closest buddies invited me to one of his computer parties (lanparties?) once after finals a while back and I had a blast playing all kinds of games lol

i have the defining one...
think of it as the combination of the ultimate procrastinator and the most obnoxious perfectionist who quadruple proofreads his essays...
5 days...seriously!!
well, that is if you don't could some eye-shutting during history...;)
but seriously, 5 full days...my mom was in Athens, so that wasn't an issue, and I drank i think at least 5 litters of Starbucks...and 10 of Red Bull...made combos actually!!!
Try latte with cinnamon!!
(never try coffee with redbull in it...)

Three days.....

About 20 hours. I've never had to pull an all nighter (I'll be a senior in high school)

33 hours. I pulled my first allnighter. :D

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Gardner_(record_holder)

I'm not an all-nighter kinda guy. What I do is take cat naps periodically to keep me going when I need to stay up for a long time or have alot to do. During a week of 3 midterms and a paper, I slept for roughly 4 hours over a 3 day span (so figure, 68 hrs awake over 3 days for those who don't want to do the math). Personally, I don't think straight when I get absolutely no sleep at all. I over-analyze things too easily.

Seriously people, 70+ hours? Willingly?

That is absolutely crazy. I would bomb a test or drop a paper to get sleep at that point. And virtually any other reason would not have any weight.

For me it was about 36 hours. Twelve hours of sleep for 4 nights (so I was already low sleep) - 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 0 hours (when the 36 hours straight happened).

19-20 hours

36ish. It was at a retreat and I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. The next day I was working a chorus concert at my school and went prom dress shopping. I don't do well w/out sleep...

36 hours (today and yesterday!) :)

About 40+ hours. New Year's. :D

learned the hard way: when you stay up, just stay up. i tried to take a 40min nap after a (voluntary) all nighter and it RUINED me for the rest of the morning.

49 hours at a 3 day LAN. Other than water, I only had 5 Bawls and gaming to keep me going.

37 hours is my longest

22 hours...and that was right before two subject tests, 2 hours of sleep worked out pretty well though, i must admit.
