<p>Okay we started the whole best book thing and now it's the worst
It can be something you were forced to read in school or on your own
I'll start:</p>
<p>Forced to read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain ugh so boring!
Moby Dick by Melville</p>
<p>i heard the owl call my name</p>
<p>had to read it in 5th grade
it sucked.</p>
<p>also hated ‘as i lay dying’ from this year, wasn’t really a fan of ‘their eyes were watching god,’ but that may have been simply a result of our obsessive analysis</p>
<p><em>waiting for someone to say The Bible</em></p>

<p>What god-awful writing. He should never have been published, I don’t care if he was 15.</p>
<p>Love in the Time of Cholera–the whole book is about a man who engages in affairs with zillions of women, including a little girl he takes care of…sick…they actually go into detail about his…um…activities…</p>
<p>And I go to a conservative Catholic school, with a conservative Catholic lit teacher-don’t ask me why we read it, I got nothing but nightmares out of it.</p>
<p>Some Mark Twain book. It’s impossible to understand wth is going on when the slaves are talking</p>

<p>But I love Mark Twain.</p>
<p>I second twilight. That book has no plot…500 pages of “OMG!!! Edward is so hot!!!”</p>
<p>I don’t understand what all the hype is about Twilight either. </p>
<p>Least favorite reads? Definitely The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway and The Life of Pi.</p>
<p>The Scarlet Letter burned my eyes.</p>
<p>The Scarlet Letter is BY FAR the worst book I have ever read.</p>
<p>Hated the ending of The Life of Pi…Death of a Salesman sucked too. Pretty much every book in our 11th grade eng class sucked.</p>

Our geometry teacher read it to us every day for 15 min…some sort of obscure form of torture, I believe.
People would keep dozing off and he gave them detention.</p>
