Okay we started the whole best book thing and now it's the worst
It can be something you were forced to read in school or on your own
I'll start:

Forced to read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain ugh so boring!
Moby Dick by Melville

also hated ‘as i lay dying’ from this year, wasn’t really a fan of ‘their eyes were watching god,’ but that may have been simply a result of our obsessive analysis

Love in the Time of Cholera–the whole book is about a man who engages in affairs with zillions of women, including a little girl he takes care of…sick…they actually go into detail about his…um…activities…

And I go to a conservative Catholic school, with a conservative Catholic lit teacher-don’t ask me why we read it, I got nothing but nightmares out of it.

^ OH NO!
Is that the one with the triangles and sqaures and stuff?
Our geometry teacher read it to us every day for 15 min…some sort of obscure form of torture, I believe.
People would keep dozing off and he gave them detention.
