Congrats! Will u attend UW? Or are you hoping for something else? You are reg admission or honors? Again, congrats! Sweet for you.

wow nice congrats!! haha I will probably keep on pressing my refresh button from now on. =P

My page still says that it was advanced...

Stats something like

4.0 W 3.83 UW
1210/1800 SAT
6 AP classes, Varsity sports, good Community service

t4885214
Congrats, what were your stats? Did your page say that your application was advanced yesterday too? (1/9)

thx everyone

yes, i'm going to the UW, it's my first choice. good school and seattle is AWESOME!

i was thinking about applying to honors, but after reading into it more i realized it didnt sound like me AT ALL....plus my stats are probably not good enough anyway. if i transition really well in college i might apply later (i think you can apply after the first quarter of your freshman year)

my stats were like...

3.87 UW (like 6 AP's, 4 honors)
1370/1600 SAT
EC's - not very good (played a couple varsity sports, <100 hours community service community service)
i didnt have any recs (i dont think they even accept them)
essay - probably wasnt very good i wrote it the day before the deadline

gl to everyone else, laura i wouldnt be surprised if your status changed today too because my status changed to the "full review process" yesterday, just like you

just a second ago i got an email from UW honors...it was titled "UW honors invites you to apply" and started out with "your exceptional academic record offers you a special invitation from the unversity honors program"......this is probably just a mass mailed thing trying to get their admittance % lower, right? did anyone else get it? or do they actually want me to apply 'cause they think i might have a chance?

i think they want you to t4, looking at your SATs probably made them consider you.

i hope we hear from them soon, mine was changed to "advanced to full review process" the same time as you guys :) ah well...hopefully.

u should apply for honors asap and then take trip to the UW and check it out, check it again if u already looked into it, take a tour, get schmoozed. have some fun in seattle. while u are there u should figure out how to get good housing and then come back and tell all your dear friends at CC everything u learned. i would think there is no down side to applying for honors. if u get there and it freaks u out, you decline. the UW may be plenty demanding in the regular U depending on your major. u are now in charge of your education. Boowaahaaahaaa! (that was supposed to be an evil power laugh) nice that they emailed u and i'm sure not everyone got that impressive invite. u should b very. . . gratified . . .good dawgie, good dawg the rest of us are not yet in charge of our educations. . . we are pawns, we are pawns. . .

t4, when you were applying for regular did you check the box that said 'Let me learn more about the UW honors program'? That might be the reason why.

lol artista, i'll see what i can do.

and no i didnt check the honors box.

umm.. my stats : 4.0 uw gpa, 2220 sat, so i don't know what's going on!! respond to me UW!!

xano- you should call the admissions office. I have a friend who has a 3.97 and a 34 ACT, and he hadn't heard anything, so he called the admissions office. They forgot to mail his letter!! So i'm thinking there is a chance they forgot to mail yours. Best of luck.

This is what it says for me (OOS, 3.3UW, ~4.0W, 1410 M + V, 2100 total):

All materials required to review your application have been received. Your application has been advanced to the full review process, and will remain in this status until decisions become available. When a decision is made, you will be notified via postal mail.

Three days later I was mailed my acceptance letter. Woo hoo! Even though I was accepted, it still reads what it says above on my status online.

So don't panic. It seems like they have a million different ways to tell you that they haven't finished looking at your app yet.
