What's up with all these "extra" supplementary info

<p>I see a lot of people saying that they sent in other stuff such as resumes or clarification papers concerning their extracurriculars. I see that it shows something extra, but would it jeopardize my chances if i only did the application and nothing else extra?</p>

<p>A lot of the people sending in supplementary materials are updating their applications after being defered ED, and affirming their continued interest in Brown. Don't worry, I didn't send in anything extra.</p>
