Kiddo was accepted into 2 schools and we are very happy. As we live quite far from the US, only 1 envelope has arrived. In it, we got the actual letter, some swag, contracts stuff, and a note from the Interviewer.
Is this pretty average?
Thanks!

If you live outside the US, you were lucky to get swag. The rest is typical.
yes, average
Sometimes there is confetti!! So watch out.
Here is a list of things that we have seen or heard of in acceptance packages - some of these come several days after March 10th.
This was 6 years ago, but this is what I remember:
Andover: Fedex package with handwritten comments on letter by AO
Deerfield: Tube with poster, green/white M&Ms, T-shirt
Choate: Pillowcase emblazoned with “Dream Big: Choate”
Hotchkiss: Signed letter in a nice folder
Taft: Folder sent to arrive on M10 with nice letter and handwritten comments
There were a few others, but I can’t remember. The most memorable package was definitely Deerfield. They sent a lot of swag. The revisit day was over the top.
@sgopal2 - swag from Deerfield a couple of years ago also included a class/grad year pennant that everyone seems to keep and bring to school, along with handwritten note from the Director of Admissions at the time. The Revisit was the big thing that convinced kiddo.
SPS - handwritten note @ application essay and recommendations from then Rector Hirschfield.
Emma - handmade piece of jewelry - bracelet - with a handwritten note from an alum who made it.
Putney - somebody a few years ago received pottery made by a student at revisit.
Porters - best swag & info package of all the schools. Must spend $ 100 + per student on marketing.
Choate: The acceptance letter.
Evidently, Choate has gotten on the swag bandwagon since ChoatieKid was accepted. I think they owe him one.
Webb sent GLITTER, which my son was tasked with vacuuming up (insert glaring emoji here)
