whats your major?

i'm not transferring till next fall 2006 and on my applications i put history or psychology as my major and alternate major? right now i am take the prereq history courses, but hile its interesting ive realized its not really something I am passionate about and could go into that type of career. I basically had put iton my application because i was still somewhat decided and most of the other majors were impacted and not many choices left. the good thing is i just started on these preeq courses, but it would be a waste of time to complete these classes and then change my major agai. what are some of your majors? i think business would give me more ooptions but also higher admission requirements to certain schools since that program is most impacted. any ideas on what i can do? just finish up these history classes for mainly the units or this could be a lost spring semester for me

From my personal experience and from many adults who are working these days and even seniors who have already retired--They always give me this advice:

"Major in the field with your interest!"

Some regretted that they chose a wrong field and now dragging on badly and disliked their jobs but it is too late for them to change; yet, some of them even decided to redo their mistakes by going back to college to major in the fields which they feel most interested in. They often said that they study in a slower pace because they could not catch up as fast as they used to do and they often regretted they should have put all effort in studying back then.

whenever i transfer to bu (assuming i get in) i am going to try to double major in finance and international relations. i am mainly focused on finance though.
