What's Your Residence Choice?

<p>Hey guys, anyone accepted McGill’s offer and chosen their ranking of the residences yet? If so, post em!</p>

<p>For me, I think mine was something like</p>

<li>Solin</li>
<li>Douglas</li>
<li>Greenbriar
4…the rest is a mess so I dont remember,
and my last choice were the New Residence ones.</li>
</ol>

<p>What about you guys?</p>

<p>i just want into molson i met the door man he said is the place to be i don't care if the dorms look like crap.</p>

<p>if you put anything besides new rez or douglas as ur top choice you'll most likely get it... its only douglas and new rez that are truly competitive</p>

<p>Haha, New Rez was definitely first choice for me. Best amenities and parties, right?</p>

<p>Then I think it was all the ones at the top of the hill.</p>

<p>Did you guys go for singles or doubles first?</p>

<p>Price tag difference isin't that big anyways. </p>

<p>Douglous will be expensive in terms of value if compared to New Rez.</p>

<p>yeh douglas is really expensive for its value...they have a really crappy caf that doesnt even open most of time...so douglas people have to walk further up the hill to the main BMH caf where the other 3 residences eat..u also get pretty small rooms and u are with less people...ur rez is isolated from the rest of mcgill...</p>

<p>i would have to say living in douglas is pretty ****ty...unless ur really artsy and stuff....and love improv theatre and all that bs...</p>

<p>i think the community and environment @ douglas is one of a kind and pretty damn cool- i wish all the residences were like it.</p>

<p>i just found most of the people at douglas nothing like me and couldnt really relate to them...they also from they own cliques and dont talk to anyone else...which i also found pretty pathetic...</p>

<p>but yeh i agree douglas likes to put on shows and host theatre and stuff.....its just not my kind of thing...</p>

<p>hey...i need some help..i dunno if to put douglas or solin first?..im tendin more towards solin but douglas seems to have better ameneties...could someone tell me wat types of ppl you find in both..thanks :)</p>

<p>solin is far away from campus and it has some really wiered people....no competent would put solin as their first choice...</p>

<p>if u like appartment style live in greenrbrier...its like solin but on campus</p>

<p>I really just want to live in Douglas. Such a beautiful building. Definitely don't want to live with all women. four years at an all girl's school has taught me a thing or two.</p>
