<p>I have assigned all my recommenders but the status on the Common App shows that they haven’t been filled yet. Do they have to be done by November 1 if i’m applying ED?</p>
<p>Also, I am submitting an additional Letter of Rec from someone who isn’t a teacher. Is there a deadline for me to mail it?</p>

<p>Everything is due as close to November 1st as you can get it. Your Common App is definitely due by this date, and they won’t be able to evaluate your application without receiving the rest of the stuff, so it’s in your best interest to get it sent in on time. Send a friendly email to your recommenders to remind them.</p>
