When are we going to actually get something from Barnard through snail mail?

As opposed to that stupid online thing where you know you’re not accepted but you don’t know if you got rejected or waitlisted? It’d be really nice to, yknow, know my status after paying about $50 for an application and sending in my entire fin aid file over again after they lost it. Thanks!

It’s probably that I’m on the west coast…maybe I’ll get something today

Peindre, I think Barnard sent the acceptance packets by priority mail and the waitlist/rejection letters by regular mail. My experience has been that it can take as little as 3 days and as long as a week for ordinary mail to get from the east to west coast. So Barnard probably mailed everything on Friday.... the rest is in the hands of the US post office.

You might try giving the admissions office a call. I don't know whether they will tell you your status over the phone or not -- but you ask and see.

I'm in rural western Washington state, and haven't gotten anything. I wish I knew too...

Didn't Barnard e-mail waitlist decisions?

I believe they only send e-mails regarding admit status to internationals...

Good luck and I hope it comes soon - I know how agonizing it can be to wait for your letter when all your friends have heard from all their schools!! I am currently going insane over the same issue (though with another school). Sigh.

it should have come already...mine came around the 28th, I believe, and I am in South Georgia (Savannah). You should definitely call them.
