<p>I have work-study listed on my financial aid page, but when I go to apply for a work study job, the page tells me that I don't have work study. What's up with that?
Is it because applications are not yet open to freshman?</p>
<p>If you’re starting at Cal for the Fall 2011 semester, you can’t begin earning work-study funds until June 1st. Try applying for work-study positions then.</p>
