<p>I recently went to visit UKY and when I was there they said you could apply as early as August 1st and hear back within a month. Do you really hear back that quickly? People who applied, when did you apply and when did you find out if you got accepted?</p>
<p>The earlier you apply the faster you will get a response. I have friends who applied in August and some who waited until March. I applied in August and got a response in three weeks. I had a friend who applied later and it took five weeks. Just depends on how many applications they are processing and whether or not you sent all the required materials at the right time.</p>
<p>August 1 is the first day that the Common Application is available. An applicant would need to really be on the ball to get everything together, including essays, to apply that early.</p>
<p>So, who has been accepted for Fall of 2014?</p>
<p>I applied the end of October and heard back in exactly 3 weeks.</p>
<p>I applied on November 8th, deferred in December 
Still waiting to hear back after seventh semester transcripts are now in the hands of admissions.</p>
@ukyweduwildcat18 when did you eventually hear back and what was your ACT and GPA? Im thinking about applying but not sure of my chances
For those looking for Fall 2016 admissions details…my daughter’s application was complete with UK on 9/2/15 and she received her acceptance letter in the mail on 9/12/15!! She was pretty thrilled about that!
