<p>I heard that dorm assignments come out mid July like around the 15th-20th? for the fall, but if you’re talking about for summer school please ignore my answer.</p>

<p>Those getting honors housing have already been notified, but not a specific building or roommate yet.</p>
<p>My son applied for honor’s dorm (he’s in Honor’s Engineering) but has not heard yet. He applied to the University and dorm the first day you could so I doubt he didn’t get his application in on time.</p>
<p>The notification comes by e-mail, just FYI. I almost overlooked it when I received it because I thought, “Oh, it’s just ANOTHER email about the meningitis vaccine…”</p>

<p>For those of who did not get an email regarding Honors Housing but did apply with plenty of time and also are enrolled in an Honors Program:
Not everyone who has been guaranteed honors housing has been emailed, so no worries.
If you are really concerned and worried, you can email DFHS and they will respond to you very quickly saying (in most cases) that you have indeed been guaranteed Honors housing and just happened to not get an email confirming so.</p>
<p>We sent an email to UT Housing as my son who is in Honor’s Engineering and hasn’t received a notification of getting into the Honor’s Dorms, here is their reply:</p>
<p>“Housing assignments have not been finalized yet. We will begin to roll out assignments in mid July. If you are not satisfied with your assignment, you will have the opportunity to request for reassignment.”</p>
