Hi! My counselor nominated me for the NYUAD scholarship about two months ago. Since I am doing regular decision, the “suggested deadline” to submit the nomination application is December 1. I have already finished the student writing requirement (essay) that NYUAD requires a student to write if you’ve been nominated. However, the nomination page says that students are also required to “submit the completed common application by our admission deadlines”. After clicking on admission deadlines it leads you to a link that tells you that if you’re doing regular decision your admission deadline is January 1. However, my counselor has been telling me that I must submit the common application by December 1, whilst NYUs page seems to be contradicting what he’s sayin. So basically what I’m wondering is when do I have to submit the common application for NYU if I’m being nominated?
