<p>I think it’s because it has been the last Thursday or Friday of March the past few years.</p>
<p>I’m guessing next Friday, the 26th. I don’t think colleges want to deal with the crap load of questions that might come their way after decisions are posted. It’s much easier to post the decisions, and close the office, IMO.</p>
<p>Are they posted online? sent in an email? or through regular snail mail?
NU doesn’t really have any status site to check on.
And are admits and rejects notified differently (and at different times) or is it all the same?</p>

<p>I turned off that setting on my Gmail that displays the first few words of the email on the link. :-D</p>
<p>I would hate to read that and see anything containing the word “sorry” and know, before even opening the email, that I was rejected. LOL</p>

<p>as far as how you get the decision, i did ed this year and they sent the first notifications through email. it tells you that letters are in the mail, but there is a link that shows you your decision online. don’t worry gmailers; you won’t know your decision before opening the email!</p>
