<p>Has anyone been notified about College of Engineering Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen? When do they send out notice (if any), by email or snail mail?</p>
<p>On the admitted students day College of Engineering meeting on February 20th, they told us that all engineering scholarship offers have already been made. That did strike me as a little odd because it was so early in the year; I thought the website said offers are made mid-March… So I guess you can interpret that how you want.</p>
<p>It’s possible they just wanted to avoid scholarship-related questions, but I’m personally assuming the scholarships are all gone.</p>
<p>most (if not all) are given out to students that apply early, nov 1 deadline.</p>
<p>I received an engineering scholarship by email on February 9th.</p>
<p>Regenesus is right, they stated that they had already given all of the scholarship offers out. There are still the university scholarships though (just not from engineering)</p>
<p>I was on the engineering page yesterday that listed out all the scholarships available for engineers- it said that all scholarships are mailed within the first week of march. However, i dont know how up to date that web page was nor do i remember the link.</p>
<p>I just called the admission office, and a lady told me that applicants will be receiving their scholarship notice by the end of March…</p>

<p>Me neither. So far all I’ve received in terms of finaid from UIUC are all loans…T__T</p>
<p>I applied early, and received my engineering scholarships in the middle of January.</p>
<p>I was told by one of the college of engineering deans that engineering college scholarships should all be out by now, I received one about 3 weeks ago.</p>
<p>there may still be a few department specific scholarships be given out, but time is running out.</p>
