When do they start reviewing applications?

Any ideas about when Harvard Admissions actually starts reviewing apps? Do they actually start on November 1, or does it take a while to put the files together?

I ask because I wonder how they'll use my November 4 SAT I scores (i.e. if they'll factor into the admissions decision, or if they'll have already made a decision based on my other scores).

If you let them know new scores are coming, then they will be wary. I'd imagine that there are lots of people that are relying on the November test to satisfy test requirements. I wouldn't worry about it as many students have been admitted early with taking the test in November.

Alumni interviews or SCEA applicants have already begun. I met with a girl last Thursday.

Harvard contacts the applicants for interviews, right? Or we have to contact them to schedule interviews?

Usually, the scheduling of interviews will be through alumni (such as the illustrious Byerly and Northstarmom on this board among others). You do NOT need to call and schedule an interview. An alum will call you.
